Technology Leadership

Technical Personnel Management: Consensus-building, team-building, training and management of technical personnel and managers. Maintain coordination between technical and non-technical personnel.

Software Development: Specification, analysis, and design of solution architecture, manage the development, integration, and implementation of systems, test and debug production systems. Full system development life cycle using various methodologies such as Agile Rational Unified Process (RUP), Rapid Applications Development (RAD), Classic Waterfall, Structured System Analysis & Design, and Reverse Engineering.

Project Management: Scheduling of work and estimation of costs and resources. Manage development and implementation timelines. Expertise in turning around troubled projects.

Vendor/Client relationships: Estimated projects and managing relationships. Experience on both sides of the vendor/client interface, both domestically and internationally. Lead customer acceptance preparation and testing. Developed end-to-end IT solutions for startup companies.

Communications: Documentation experience includes technical and process standards, specifications, API documentation, user documentation, and preparing software systems for source licensing. Worked as an engineering technical writer prior to my involvement in information systems.

Problem-solving and flexibility: A broad range of experience including both regular and contract employment in a variety of environments. Feasibility studies, overall systems design, database and data structures, work close work with people from a variety of cultures and a variety of professional backgrounds to solve complex business problems.

Work History

2010 - Responsible for implementation of mobile marketing system delivering over $10 million in benefits direct to the customer within 6 months of operation. Led the development of a mobile marketing platform from initial technology evaluation through product creation and technical acceptance. Created comprehensive reports and campaign management systems to give management information and control of campaign specifications, metrics, b2b integration, and invoicing. Responsible for mobile marketing compliance (FTC, FCC, MMA) and campaign management.
Identified opportunities and develop new mobile concepts, features and business requirements for mobile commerce and applications. Facilitated and managed JAD sessions to solicit and define business requirements. Assisted in the QA process prior to all product launches. Delivered global, complex products and services in web, ecommerce, mobile, CRM, enterprise applications, networking, and real-time systems. Managed full lifecycle development of applications and automated processes that bridge multiple companies, departments, software applications, and business associates through global networks. Analyzed product development trends and design business processes to increase return on investment using statistical indicators and product knowledge.

2009 - Planned and directed information technology development and operations. Analyzed business needs and established priorities for systems design and implementation. Directed the development and modification of systems and capabilities. Contracted with technology specialists and vendors to build products and systems used to market, process, and analyze a mobile client base. Designed and implemented end-to-end information system called Rx FastTrak for marketing products delivering mobile coupons through mobile systems such as text messaging, IVR, call center, iPhone, Android, Blackberry, WAP, and the Internet. Increased client sales by 40% in less than 30 days after launching their marketing campaign. Delivered more than $15 million dollars in redeemed coupon savings to the customers of Galderma Laboratories for Clobex and Tri-Luma brands.

2008 - Provided B2B business services requiring seasoned business systems analysts, project managers, and website managers. Managed software development projects; analyze systems by developing comprehensive business process and data models; designed systems based on business and functional requirements. Hosted customers on high performance clustered servers and serve as Webmaster for several business and organizational web sites.

2007 - Identified business needs, costs, and benefits of implementing information technology solutions. Gathered and analyzed data in support of business cases, proposed project changes, and systems requirements. Constructed information technology (IT) definitions and determined the security, test, network and hardware needs in scope of the requirements for financial products. Facilitated and managed JAD sessions to solicit and define business requirements. Used Agile Rational Unified Process (RUP) and Rapid Applications Development (RAD) methodologies to design requirement specifications, business rules, and process logic for corporate websites, identity verification, fraud detection, loan funding, and credit card application approval for online financial products designed for First Bank of Delaware, Discover Card, U. S. Department of Treasury, and other financial institutions.

Prepared finance and resource estimates for software development projects and delivered within estimated budget and timeline using MS Project and Excel. Extensive experience and education related to computer systems, statistical analysis, organizational design, managerial accounting, and business processes. Responsible for critical application performance characteristics and the design of software security controls. Developed testing requirements, customer acceptance, and training criteria. Analyzed enterprise complexity, business process efficiency, manufacturing and warranty costs, ROI, quality, and performance.
